Our world changed with one ER visit Part 1

Like most husbands my is as stubborn as they come. A little over 4 months ago my husband wasn’t feeling well and refusing to see a Dr. But once the vomiting started after eating he had no choice. We went for one urgent care visit, which was unhelpful. They charged us over $500 to do a blood sugar test. We told them he didn’t need the test. All they could tell us was it “might” be his kidneys.

After a search found a dr but was a 3 week wait to get in. I tried to get him to go to the ER but we all know stubborn people. As the next three weeks went by, he became weaker. He eventually started vomiting whenever he took a bite or drink of anything.

Fast forward to the day of the appointment everything started to spiral out of control. We went to the Dr office which was a town over. We found a note stating it was closed due to repairs. They were in the clinic in our town. We back tracked and arrived right at appointment time. But since we didn’t arrive 30 mins early they would have to reschedule. They had called the day before to tell him where they were. But we didn’t get the voicemail due to his constant sleeping. They asked if we’d like to reschedule. I declined and said I would just take him to the Emergency Room
